Project Leaders
"Our 2023 Capstone came together to make a low-poly, western-themed shooter game, and in just a semester, our team worked together to create something I think we can all be proud of. Our team worked wonderfully together, and I believe that effort has paid off. I don't think we could have accomplished "Booze Basher" without the help of everyone on our team; from the amazing levels, the hand-made models and hand-rigged animations, to the dedicated work put into the character models, our custom website, and the outstanding programming. It has been so surreal watching our ideas from our first week form into something truly incredible." - Brynn Mohr
Game Developers
"We have been working as a team to create a rogue-like shooter that is a fun and engaging experience. Even though 16 weeks is not very long for making this type of game, I feel that we have worked really well as a team to create something unique that we can all be proud of. We have been able to create an engaging game loop with multiple boss fights and power-ups for the player to enjoy while also creating a unique and stylized environment for the player to explore and fight in. I can't wait for people to experience the chaotic fun that is Booze Basher." - Harrison Hatridge
Digital Media
“The Digital Media team has helped with a lot of different aspects of the game. One of the members made the logo for the game. A couple of our members have created different kinds of graphics that’s will be hanging around the interior of the saloon.” - Gracia Jones
Web Developers
"Being the Web Development element to the game, we utilized our skills to create a functional website to present the game. To design the game before production, we used Adobe XD for the UX and UI design. This helped us create a layout later used for coding. After the design was complete, we then used our skillset in HTML, CSS, & JavaScript to make a fully functional webiste. The Web Dev team was small in comparison to the other teams but we were able to work and communicate together to complete the project." - Corey Lang
